The Reiner Stuff gal goes to India
Though I love my websites and competing at reining events, I still need to have my day job to pay for this expensive hobby. As a Project Manager at a pretty good sized company I get opportunities for some fun work travel. This winter as I wound up one project in December it was decided that for my next project, a trip to India with the core team would be good because most of the development work would be performed by our offshore partners in India. The project is a rebuild of a website for one of the companies we acquired a couple of years ago.

Two things that were blatantly missing on this trip, RVs and horses. I still had a grand time, but in India there is no concept of a home on wheels at all and the 4 horses I saw were really ponies, 3 of them working and one was in a field.

I brought with me a small selection of my Black Metal fab reining items to give to the Manager and technical leads with whom I have worked with for 3 years now and they know that I own and ride horses.

I gave them these gifts within the first couple of days and now I realize how odd those items will be sitting on their work desks or even sitting at home. Their visitors are bound to ask, hey what are you doing with this horse statue. I felt like an ambassador for reining giving out my own products I sell to folks in a land far away.
